We are seeking a skilled and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team.
The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing patient appointments, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk in a medical office setting.
Duties:
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department dule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar - Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records systems (Epic, Dentrix, etc.
) - Assist with medical record management, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality - Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient patient flow - Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, faxing, and mailing
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting is preferred - Strong knowledge of front desk operations and administrative tasks - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines - Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions.
