They will be responsible for the calibration of all check fixtures and measuring devices.
The CMM technician/operator will operate and provide CMM programming assistance and quality control support and expertise in support of daily production and operational needs.
They will help drive continuous improvements in support of Aranda's Quality Control Inspection and Operating system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES Responsible for receiving First Article Dimensional Inspection reports and verity product conformance to design specifications.
Compares completed product with parts list, drawings, blueprints, customer purchase order.
Analyze measurement report and confirm the result Optimize the measurement method Responsible for CMM maintenance to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
Measurement calibration Timely support production on parts measurement Prepare measurement proposal and solutions Description of Duties/Tasks Required to Accomplish Essential Functions Perform detail part inspections against engineering design data using CMM.
Recommend and implement improvements that help deliver timely solutions resulting in the highest level of customer service.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any discrepancies and ensure continuous process improvement Inspects first article parts and assemblies.
Writes report regarding inspection and testing results Ability to work with minimal supervision and perform follow-up assignments as needed All other duties and projects as assigned.
Technical Skills Software:
3 years of CMM (Faro or Romer Arms).
Ability to complete First Article Inspections and reports.
Ability to operate/ program CMM both manual and PC-DMIS based, profilometer, and comparator.
Experience in AutoCAD and PC-Dmis.
Familiarity with and ability to use standard inspection tools.
Word, Excel, and Outlook.
