Production Lead

SUMMARYAssist in the supervision and process flow of product by performing the following duties.
Note:
This is for an evening/nigshift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Audit employees, and processes to ensure product is per specification and is under control.
Prioritizes work orders to workers, and assigns duties.

(First In First Out) streamline production Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
Learn and enforce company safety policies and practices.
Run, retrieve data, train and solve simple problems in SAP Communicate with team, and share results.
Prepares and analyzes production Reports and present information to the teams in the DMS board meeting Replenish supplies and materials needed using MRF's Continuously inspect product during production.
Verifies work station is in accordance to set 5S Standards to support the balance of quality and efficiency.
File initial Non Conformance Report when applicable.
Process a Deviation or Material Review Board Report when applicable.
Keep working areas per the 5'S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize and sustain) methodology clean and organized.
Comprehensive understanding of all applicable MSOP's, QCSOP's, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and line clearance requirements.
Able to use tweezers to handle product.
Identify and scrap defects per Zeiss quality standards.
Identify different lens and injector models and components.
Able to use a microscope and understand magnification levels for visual inspection.
Use overlay models on optical comparators to perform inspections for 1PC and 3PC.
Trained on all primary processes in each manufacturing area for both 1PC and 3PC:
tumbling, cleanroom and packaging.
Perform calibration on Bi-focal Focal Length bench (BFL).
Analyze BFL resolution and diopter measurements to evaluate IOL conformity.
Perform SAP functions such as operation confirmations and label printing.
Process Material Request Forms (MRF) to maintain inventory levels available to the production floor.
Review the work order BOM (Bill of Material) to gather the required material to perform assembly, inspection and packaging operations.
Prepare product for sterilization by processing sub-lot confirmations, forms, reports and constructing batch configurations.
Perform SAP verifications and documentation review of work orders to ensure adherence to GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
Prepare Production Reports for the designated manufacturing department(s).
Responsible for being the primary trainer of production operators and ensuring training effectiveness.
Quality:
Ensure that all finished product meets quality standards and specifications.
Maintain a production environment that complies and follows all quality standards and government regulated standards.
Performs manufacturing process according to MSOP's & MPI's.
Performs in-process inspection according to QCSOP's & QIS.

Must wear clean room protective suits or other personal protective equipment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Graduate Previous manufacturing experience in Medical Device industry is a strong plus Experience with LEAN manufacturing principles is a strong plus Having the ability to managing production with use of KPI identification is a plus.
Proficient computer knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office programs:

management, supervisors, coworkers, inspectors and auditors from various governing bodies, such as FDA auditors).
The salary range for this position is:
$25.
50-32.
00/hr.
The salary offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions.
