MAINTENANCE / FACILITIES MANAGER
CHINO, CA AREA
DUTIES:
Responsible for managing manufacturing engineering, quality and plant site maintenance in regards to capital projects, facilities and production equipment.
Direct responsibility for departmental and capital budgets, project management (including capital programs and project justifications) and site TPM programs.
Establish and maintain site TPM processes
Oversee maintenance management system to track work orders, spare parts, and maintain history of plant equipment.
Ensure that safety rules and OSHA requirements are maintained within the department.
Monitors use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment; initiates re-ordering as required.
Responsible for facility maintenance including roof repairs, doors, locks, and key control.
Work with outside vendors as required to support projects.
Maintaining records, drawings, and files related to maintenance and engineering.
Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local government regulations.
Maintain maintenance training guidelines to support team development.
Ensure Maintenance Technicians are adequately trained and directed.
Responsible for initiating cost containment projects.
Work with individual staff members to identify and develop goals and actions for the continuous improvement of the company and to improve employees career development.
MUSTS:
BS, BA degree-engineering type desired.
Experience directing maintenance, facility and production equipment projects and teams.
In-depth understanding of engineering and maintenance functions in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with various utility systems including hydraulic systems, PLCs, HMI systems, machine controls, compressors, and ancillary services, chillers, cooling towers, purified water systems, and high/low voltage electrical systems.
Knowledgeable of OSHA and DEP regulations.
Solid Lean Applications skills and knowledge in development of Value Stream Operations, Six Sigma, and other improvement techniques.
Goal / Results oriented Self-Starter Team Player
Able to provide clear and concise oral and written communication to all levels of employees.
